Georgina
Bacon BA (Hons) SDSHom BFRP
Licensed Homeopath and
Registered Bach Flower Practitioner
Georgina
is a Licensed Homeopath, a Registered
Bach Flower
Practitioner and Member
of the Society of Homeopaths. She studied Homeopathy for 4 years
at the South Downs School of Homeopathy before qualifying and is now committed
to continuing her Professional and Personal development. She runs Practices
in Shoreham-by-Sea, Southwick and Steyning, also holding Workshops
throughout the year and offering FREE talks to local groups and associations.
In
2005, she took part in a CPD day for the Society of Homeopaths talking
on her research findings of the homeopathic remedy 'Diamond'. This year
she lectured to students at the South East College of Homeopathy. A further
CPD lecture is planned for the autumn with 'Rx Talks'.
Originally Georgina studied French and Linguistics at Brighton University
and many of her former research projects were centred around health related
topics. She later went on to work for a French owned Company where she
developed strong business French skills.
During her final 2 years studying Homeopathy Georgina worked closely with
a counsellor to challenge and strengthen her own beliefs. As a result
of this process she developed new skills which form part of her working
style in Practice today. Implementing a variety of dynamic self-help methods
and techniques she brings back the control to the client and helps them
to feel more in charge.
Georgina maintains a flexible approach in her Practice and works with
Clients in a way which meets their individual health needs. Her aim is
always to address the cause of a Client’s symptoms, whether that
originates in the physical body, from the client's outlook, or from other
external influences. Georgina firmly believes in the body’s innate
ability to self-heal and encourages her clients to recognise and support
this. As a Homeopath she feels it is her role to assist the body in this
process.
